 Corona Virus prayer

Loving Father, we are in the midst of a storm.

We know that you are riding this storm with us and that you will help us through it.

We know that you are a loving Father who  through your Son Jesus Christ, has given us the promise of eternal Heavenly life after earthly death. We know that you are listening to our prayers Lord, and we thank you.

We pray for those who are suffering and for their families and loved ones.

We pray for all those whose lives, jobs, family and homes are affected.

We pray for those whose role is to help- all NHS staff and those trying to find a treatment, cure or vaccine.

We pray for those who are alone in isolation.

We pray for government, that they may make the right decisions.

We pray for  those who are working to ensure we all have food- growers, processors, transporters, retailers.

We pray for those whose earthly lives have ended because of this virus but are reassured that they are now safe in your loving care.

We pray for those who have lost a loved one.

We pray for patience, love and kindness to be shown by everyone and to everyone.

Give us the strength Lord, to deal with whatever is coming our way, and may we always feel your presence, supporting and helping us as we ride this storm.

Thank you Lord,

Amen.
