A poem read by Mrs Corinne Jones at our anniversary service. 20 May 2018.

At the heart of Griffithstown there's a building big and grey, and it's been here for a hundred years, you can see it every day.

It was built when Corporal Jones was fighting over in Sudan, and the world's first motorbike was made by Daimler, what a man.

Right from its beginning it's been a popular place: friendly faces, worship and prayers, secure in the Lord's embrace.

Such a happy family feeling seems to live within these walls. There are even comfy chairs now, in the place of wooden stalls.

In recent times, as well as hosting prayers and hosannas,, this building has been used for lessons on guitar and pianos.

Also Wigglebugz for tiny tots, choir rehearsals and craft club. It's turned itself into a very useful community hub.

The table top sale serves more purposes than cash in the bank-new faces welcomed is a bonus to be frank.

On our grey stone church here, we've no tower, dome or steeple, what we have inside is Our Fellowship- the people.
