Gift Service
Harvest Festival

"Pray the Lord of the harvest

to send out labourers into His harvest"

Luke 10: 2

Our Harvest service collection helps to provide much needed supplies to the local food bank to assist families and individuals at times of acute need.

Each year we send a large number of shoeboxes packed and wrapped with items for either families or elderly folk. We have a wonderful service of worship and praise, remembering those less fortunate than ourselves, as well as giving thanks for all that we have. Link to Hope distribute the boxes.

We also give thanks to the children of the Sunday School who receive their prizes for their achievements and attendance.

We are also still collecting for Torfaen Women's Aid and for the local food bank, all donations gratefully received.

Our 2024 shoeboxes have now been sent to Link to Hope and will be transported and distributed by them. We filled and sent 85 shoeboxes. Thanks to everyone who donated and helped and particular thanks to Corinne Jones and Diana Cox.

Donations for next year's boxes are already being accepted.
